Wow, talk about bombardment huh? Yeah, I know I kinda went off on one and did a whole LiveJournal Archive here, but I was looking through the blog and came across my two earlier posts. I then decided to get it finally over and done with and uploaded them all here, now there's only two more journals to archive and those are Hi5 and my MSN Space. "Be Prepared" is all I can say.
Took my car down for its MOT today, and handed the key in as well since the battery died and it needs to be changed. Actually, the battery died sometime earlier this year and I've been using the spare in the meantime ^_^;; My mum was with me and so was the eldest of my two younger brothers; I feel really ashamed that my mum has to pay for my car's MOT and its insurance...it's not right. But life seems to like screwing me over, i.e. spoiling me rotten while giving me no means to fund my needs. I'm unemployed, but not out of choice; I have applied to places and handed in CV's...but no-one takes me, and it's been the same story for the past 4 years.
After dropping my car off, we head to Hounslow so I can check up on some of the places I applied to as well as see if other places have vacancies...not looking good, though GameStation looks promising in that they still have my CV. Anywho, I get emotional when I'm tired and I didn't get much sleep last night, so at some point in the day I actually felt like crying and letting my frustrations out by vandalising something and feeling the blood flow. But I'm too big to act that way, so my eyes just stung mercilessly.
I'm a great believer in things happen for a reason, but I don't know what reason there could be for getting the short-end of the stick when it comes to job-hunting. Maybe I'm destined for something greater? Is this a sign for my to quit my ambitions and become a HouseWife? Or should I just sit down and use this holiday to pound out this novel I'm working on...damn writer's block ¬.¬
Whatever the reason, my main drive to look for a job is so that I can support my mum, and use the excess to put aside to repay my Student Loan and/or spend it on goodies for myself.
As for news, as per my predictions, Italy won the World Cup. Really, the match was one to watch and was pretty good; way too many close calls. Also, from this Sunday at 8pm the new series of Braniac: Science Abuse will be airing on Sky One...JOY!
